I'm a United States Navy Veteran. I gave up my freedom, left my family and fought for this nation. I fought so Mr. Kaepernick could protest anyway he chooses. He isn't hurting anyone nor is he inciting violence. Let him be.
-
Thank you for your service! I remember hearing when all of this started that Kaepernick originally sat and after talking with a veteran about how to go about protesting respectfully, the veteran told him that kneeling would be best. Nobody minded when Tebow did it for pro life

-
Correct he spoke to Nate Boyer who told him it was more respectful to kneel then sit.

Well I think it's safe to say I'll never buy a Nike product again the rest of my life.

It’s literally ONLY white people that are upset/Angry at Kap and his whole way of protesting. It was always about racism and nothing else
-
More like 5% of white people. The ones who are also in the loosly related group, those who say they are for free speech, but aren't, unless it's their message.
-
Right on! I’m white and proudly wear Nike...and I don’t support racial injustice. Don’t play your Disrespectful to veterans” card. I am a vet and took an oath to support what Colin Kaepernick is doing.
