    Checkout evilginx! It might add some context. With such a MITM attack, the user still gets the push notification. The only method to protect against phishing 2.0, is FIDO.

    Yes 100% agreed here, also patch can be more nuanced e.g, patch security issues, rather than patch the entire framework.

    Comment: when security professionals say "just patch", and they are referring to a programming framework, that may mean hundreds or even thousands of dev hours (for instance, upgrading struts on a couple hundred custom apps). I think we need new language/wording for this.

    I carry this book in my work bag with me everywhere. Rereading different perspectives gives me strength when I am up against the wall. It's always worth opening. Always.

    Happy 1 year ! This past year, we made an Amazon Best Sellers list, hosted a summit, signed w/ to release 2 books, and now have 2 more on the way. We made lots of new friends and inspired many to learn more about infosec. We are eternally grateful.

    I was like "I think this new emerging tech is going to be huge, there's a lot of interesting opportunity there to attack and secure it and not many people are doing that yet, so I'm going to work hard and get good at it" That wasn't luck. It was a calculated bet that paid off

    It’s 2019 and yet we still blindly rely on a technology which is known to easily enable phishing and virtually impossible for ordinary users to not spot. There has to be a better way!
