Is there a benefit to getting the dual motor M3 for driving in snow? Or is the RWD enough?

RWD drive with winter tires is solid for me in the M3. I was worried before buying RWD as so many online was saying you will fishtail, etc and its solid. I have had winter tires on FWD, AWD and RWD and see no difference in slipping, etc.

That only illustrates how bad your old car was, or even just tires, not AWD overall. Try AWD Tesla and see the difference. No chance in hell you will slip more in AWD.

Before buying everyone said RWD does not work in snow, you MUST get AWD, etc. So I don't meant to say RWD in snow is better than AWD but damn, RWD with winter tires works mighty fine! And what I really like is I retain that RWD push forward feel - you do not get that in FWD/AWD

Probably due to no weight of the engine in the front. Also counter weight of the engines on the rear wheels

Another Tesla fan boy who knows nothing about cars thinking it’s the best car ever with little or inappropriate comparison.

All due to the Electronic Traction Control. Similar to how the wheels don’t spin nearly as much on the new Tesla roadster even thought it does a sub 2 second 0-100 pull
