      My laptop is getting repaired so I literally cannot work. Can't code, can't read (all my textbooks and papers are PDFs), can't 3D model etc. Trying to take today as a break but it feels so weird not being able to work even though I want to.

      Update: The Microsoft folks told me that "there's something deeply wrong with [my] version of Windows 10" so they'll have to reinstall Windows completely. ☹☹☹ Fast forward to me reinstalling my many versions of Unity.

      I've been trying to keep myself occupied this weekend since I can't work. Got super caffeinated camping a cafe but finished reading "Ma Huateng and Tencent: A Business and Life Biography" by Leng Hu. I have a newfound appreciation for lawyers + PR teams at large tech companies.

      Up next is "The Better Angels of our Nature" by Steven Pinker, which I bought in 2016 when I was going through my "Zuckerberg Book Club" phase. I'm 30ish pages in, not sure I 100% agree with everything I've read so far but it's been surprisingly entertaining.

      My laptop hard drive went down a few weeks ago and they weren't able to salvage anything. Luckily I'm not in uni anymore otherwise I would have lost a lot.
