People who don't think retail/hospitality requires skill has never seen me fold hundreds of t-shirts perfectly in 20 minutes after 8 years at Target.

It also encouraged ingenuity to avoid working too hard for such awful pay. My finest was when I hid in the stockroom upon a throne of Huggies. For one small hour, I was King of Diaper Mountain, and my reign was terrible to behold.
I can't say I did anything as impressive as that, but also I was getting paid approx $25AUD/$19USD and hour (as a casual).
