If you're working with native code, you may want to have a look at
@x13pixels's RemedyBG. One of the snappiest debuggers I've ever used!
In this case I have to use Visual Studio (work), but I'll definitely check it out

Oh we're definitely sticking with VS, there's too many features that is has that we need. (and I also really like VS, when it actually works.)
