      In high school I was doing 16 units (minimum was 10, average is 12). It was gently suggested that I drop a subject and computer studies was the one recommended by teachers.       A lot of Aussies probably don't know but the Australian National Curriculum includes "Digital Technologies" which includes coding as a mandatory learning area from Year 3-8, then optional in Year 9 & 10. Great way to learn more about it here: https://aca.edu.au/curriculum/

      I was only able to do Computer Science via distance education so I was the only one in that in my school. Also I was the only girl in Physics and Specalist Maths.
