      Have you looked at Wilsons Prom? I'm not sure what the hiking tracks are like (last time I was after some rock slides that closed some tracks) but day trips are free.

      Mount Oberon is special down there. Big bald rock scramble with amazing views. Solid full day hike.

      The top of Mount Bishop is really nice too, though I did come back from it with 3 stitches in my knee.
