Anyone have any good guides to setting up git LFS. I'm thinking about setting myself up a personal repo for some of my experimental code I write. It would be nice to have some version history for personal projects. Despite my existing distaste for git. Bitbucket is free

Just add a .gitattributes file into the root of the repository and commit it (after installing LFS). Also if your using Source Tree, get it to use the installed version of git instead of the embedded version.
If you have access to a project that is already using LFS you can use it's .gitattributes folder
