The truth about legislation like IR35 and GDPR is that they serve a major purpose as barrier to entry to markets while the lack of enforcement or fines mean incumbents remain untouched. Hopefully in five years I don’t have some random stranger telling me “no one could know”
It's a step in the right direction. For 20 years since the monetization of the internet I've never seen ordinary non-technical folk own their data. They now know the value and cost of privacy... GDPR moves us all forward...

Hope so, damn would I be happy. However my team has asked me personally to comply and do changes over 100 times (and we did) According to GDPR Facebook would cease to be a business. Don’t imagine that happening
