(staying within 50 nodes seems to keep things quite stable, but growing past that is painful.)
Trying to run a single job, two agents lost, a bunch of tasks that can't be terminated for an unknown reason.pic.twitter.com/f9VtzqnBAN
Single deploy failed, cluster is completely stalled and refusing all resource requests: a single task will no longer even run!pic.twitter.com/bH9hMBsakN
When you pay to bootstrap a 75 node cluster, and a deploy fails and Mesos gets completely confused and you have to restart: expensive!
Arg! They aren't offline, though, these nodes are available! (Failure detection is hard, am I right?) It might be time to call it a night.pic.twitter.com/WgqwGPrDVn
TASK_LOST is a superstate that might mean your task might be running, or it might be not running, or it might have ran.
Yeah, distinguishing between failed and slow nodes is hard, etc. etc.
At least CORBA was honest and called it COMPLETED_MAYBE...
CALL_ME_MAYBE should totally be a status.
