As I predicted $AMZN launched AWS IoT #MQTT service
Pricing is still unclear, it's 1c per 1000 1-to-1 msgshttps://twitter.com/nivertech/status/651092496068530176 …

$5 per 1M msgs sent + $5 per 1M msgs delivered = $10 per 1M 1-to-1 (non b-cast) msgs or $1 per 100K 1-to-1 msgs or 1c per 1000 1-to-1 msgs

AWS IoT Messaging Broker has limited
#MQTT impl. no QoS 2 or even retained messages: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/protocols.html …2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

@nivertech that is not a surprise, at all. Both features are highly problematic at scale; QoS 2 is outright impossible to get right.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

@clemensv what if l'll connect 20M idle MQTT clients? When I coonected 1M websocket clients - I got a call from them asking me to stop ;)1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@nivertech @clemensv It's ok, plenty of Ducktape-as-a-Service startups will pollyfill the gaps with damp virtual newspaper / miracle gro! :)
