I thought it might be fun to try and port the simdjson thing to Rust as a weekend project, but I'd forgotten how laborious it is to read any non-trivial C++ code, switching back and forth between header files and source files - how did I live like that for a decade and more?

Got'ya, That thing made me wonder if serde used SIMD yet, and there is a ticket, but no one had worked on it yet AFAIK

The rust port is serde compatible. Shouts to @heinz_gies and @sunnygleason who did the work
