    So hard to get one's mind around 1 million deaths. This graphic helps with the magnitude & the timeline. But however we try to absorb the scale, it's crucial to try to think about each death as its own unfathomable (and often preventable) tragedy.

    So just as it has seemed like more people were starting to realize that buying receipts for artwork (a.k.a. NFTs) wasn’t really worth all that much.. Instagram decides to give it a bit more oxygen.. 🤦‍♂️ There are so many better ways they could spend engineering time 🙁

    But of course the change to Wordle only takes effect if you refresh/reload your browser. And there's really no reason for me to do so... and as a result I had the original word this morning. While others who recently started playing - or refreshed - will have a different word.
