@bbum — Huh? If you plug in a USB cord into a regular power socket, how is it possible that it's siphoning data?

@simX As @danwood said, are you worried about public USB plugs or ones you install? Public? OK -- a bit paranoid, but I can understand why.

@bbum @simX I guess that's the drawback to having power and data over the same cable. Product Idea: Adaptor that blocks data, allows power.

@ddribin how big are those? The ones I bought from OWC were too big for my outlet boxes.

@nuthatch In which dimension? The Instruction Sheet just says “standard single gang electrical wall box”

@ddribin the OWC were huge out back, no room for wires inside a metal outlet box! Levitron look shallower.

@nuthatch @ddribin My U-Sockets were also quite large, so those are better if you don't want a plug. Saw them at Lowes this weekend.
