@DanStapleton @koobismo Doesn't that usually signal that it's garbage? Like Watch_Dogs?
Looks like there'll be no The Sims 4 reviews until after it's out. EA tells me no one's getting access ahead of release. I'm nervous.

Why didn't you warn us about the protagonist having the personality of a wet paper towel?!0 retweets 0 likes -

@kristindexter@koobismo 2nd paragraph: "Our hero, Aiden Pearce, is an empty trenchcoat as far as personality goes."http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/05/27/watch-dogs-review …7:13 AM - 19 Aug 2014 · Details0 retweets 2 likes

@DanStapleton Tons of reviews on YouTube from full release versions. Why does corporate press seem to miss that? Oh yeah free stuff.0 retweets 0 likes -
@Dizzyl3mon Ha. I don't care about free stuff. Even if we buy a copy for review, it doesn't come out of my pocket.0 retweets 0 likes -
@Dizzyl3mon And also: those aren't full release copies. They're preview builds, and we've played with those too. EA says they're not ready.0 retweets 0 likes

@DanStapleton Might also just be realizing that the Sims audience and the core-gaming audience just aren't really the same. Maybe.0 retweets 1 like - View other replies

@DanStapleton Did SimCity also try something out of the norm? Did they hold "review events" instead of sending out actual copies?0 retweets 0 likes -
@Capitalistpig21 They had an event and then gave copies for the weekend before launch. Almost everybody waited another week+ to review.0 retweets 0 likes

@DanStapleton Some Sims community members have had a lot of access&been in a position to write previews Maybe theyre just sticking with that0 retweets 1 like -

@DanStapleton Whatever EA's reasons are, the gaming press will have to wait with Sims fans for the release day.0 retweets 1 like -
@DanStapleton EA are very community-focused with Sims, so that could be a reason. Fans were told about the game before the press last year.1 retweet 2 likes -
@beyondsims@DanStapleton Every time the press reviews a Sims game, it turns into a mockery. About time EA caters to the community instead.0 retweets 2 likes -
@DerMonarch@beyondsims The Sims 3 reviewed very well just about everywhere. I loved it, myself (92% at PCG). Or did you not like it?1 retweet 1 like
