    NYT spent decades defending antisemitic smears & BDS as legit criticism of Israel. They pushed Obama admin's agenda via Jew trackers & stories exploiting oppressed Iran Jews. They wove Jews into Russiagate conspiracism. You can't do that without having effect on newsroom culture.

    If you‘re saying we must be vigilant against normalization of anti-Semitism - whether it originates on the Right or Left, from pols or media, in the arts or on campuses - we agree. But if you mean it’s more of a problem from some than others, you’re using it as a partisan weapon.

    Michael: Respectfully, either way it should not have happened and is unacceptable, as NYT has now said. So next: what steps will you take to correct such ignorance to ensure against allowing a willful act of anti-Semitism (the cartoon itself) to be published on your pages?

    We live in a time when Israelis feel compelled to tell family to “be safe” in the US. What a world.

    Embarking on a coast to coast speaking tour in the US, my family in Israel is telling me to "be safe." It's sad that those are the words I'm told when I leave Israel for America. It didn't used to be that way. This only makes me more determined than ever to come spread the truth!
