NYT spent decades defending antisemitic smears & BDS as legit criticism of Israel. They pushed Obama admin's agenda via Jew trackers & stories exploiting oppressed Iran Jews. They wove Jews into Russiagate conspiracism. You can't do that without having effect on newsroom culture.

If you‘re saying we must be vigilant against normalization of anti-Semitism - whether it originates on the Right or Left, from pols or media, in the arts or on campuses - we agree. But if you mean it’s more of a problem from some than others, you’re using it as a partisan weapon.

Wait...the ⁦⁩ featured ANOTHER Netanyahu cartoon? This one AFTER the Thursday cartoon depicting Netanyahu as a dog? Am I reading this right? Is the Times obsessed with Israel’s prime minister?

Today we commemorate the 74th Anniversary of the Liberation of Concentration Camp. Anne Frank was killed here, and 40,000 other victims are buried but not identified.

We live in a time when Israelis feel compelled to tell family to “be safe” in the US. What a world.

Apology not accepted. How many editors looked at a cartoon that would not have looked out of place on a white supremacist website and thought it met the paper’s editorial standards? What does this say about your processes or your decision makers? How are you fixing it?

Naked antisemitism such as in this image is not “an error of judgment.” We have to wonder if the editors would’ve published a similar cartoon depicting any other country or people.

There is really no excuse for the New York Times to publish such a blatantly anti-Semitic image as the one in this cartoon. Not acceptable in any way.

When I make an "error in judgment", I apologize for it and make every effort to make amends. This particular one by the NYT requires that in spades. Still waiting.

Taking my daughter to her first game at Goodison Park with my Dad. Football is a story of generations. Of memories passed from parents to children. And the memories this rekindled of my own childhood, mixed with her passion and excitement made this one of great days of my life 🙌
