Surely all affected sport including Olympics just moves to the +1 channel as in all schedules realign in sync ...why does it have to get back on track with the previous calendar as long as they're spaced out in the same yearly/2-yearly/4-yearly pattern thereafter

This Thomas Bach guy should be a little bit optimistic bcos by next summer
#Covid_19 would have either disappeared or a vaccine found. Did he even consider the amount of money that has already gone into the@NBCOlympics -
You’re a fool if you don’t think the rich know more about the impact of this virus than we do. To them, the cost of doing business would be greater than canceling it all together.

If Olympics are scrapped for 2020 then hold them in 2022 -otherwise no country would ever be willing to host them(except maybe China)-if some crisis forces one decision (scrapping) then it can also change another( giving up holding Olympics in leap years) and schedule it for 2022

Olympic should NOT be scrapped but should be held in other country. Japan has NOT been truthful about Coronavirus and is now suffering. Japan can NOT trusted for our athletes safety I'd suggest Korea hold Olympics! Athletes deserve to compete in a safe country!

Not enough time to switch it to a place that doesn’t have the space to host it. They’re given years to plan and construct the facilities.
