Do not use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe, to create, to learn, to think and to grow.

🙂OK, it still wasn't the last remark: The NZEB is doing really well here.Yes, there's still a winter-surge & PV alone can't fix it. But: In this case the seasonal storage (after just share of wind-El) will be in a range we can live with & will be able to pay for.(~400-800 kWh/a)

And, a last remark, because sometimes it's misunderstood: YES, we should install as much PV as possible in such projects - and it should be even more than these 5 kW. (And still we'll need to radically reduce winter heating load)

    (2) & Often: "this is solved by energy storage"; while we will need a lot of energy storage, to run ALL this heating winter surge if it's too high with seasonal storage (~one cycle/year). And with std.-buildings it's much too high.

This does exactly illustrate the situation (here: Italy). It's even more severe in more heating dominated areas (like Central Europe, most of China, ...). And has exactly the appropriate recommendation.

Household min electric demand reflects 24/7 energy used by connected devices, clocks, routers, GFIs, chargers etc. We measured in sample of 50. Avg= 190W

Last summer, I realized motels were a safer option than sharing the lobby, hallway, & elevator with others. Almost all motel rooms have their own HVAC unit, not connected to others. Air out the room for 15 min before unmasking (exhaust fan on, door open).

Brinkley’s Washington Post review review of ⁦⁩’s ⁦”Mercury Rising” is fair, but misses its critical new information on John Glenn’s epic mission within greater context of Project Mercury. Indispensable.
