@danluu Do you use anything to manage content on http://danluu.com ? I had assumed it was all hand authored, but then wasn't sure if doing RSS & Atom by hand would be tractable.

basically the answer here is tools like Disquis. This is how Hakyll and Jekyll blogs work. You have a Disquis ID that tracks your posts, add some JS code to your page, Disquis loads the comments dynamically boom.
@johnregehr I've loved Jekyll and highly recommend it.
