Not to denigrate this exercise .. but have you ever seen R-B tree actually used for anything (besides HashMap in Java and Completely Fair Scheduler in Linux)?
C++ STL reference implementation from SGI, current libc++, and probably most other STL implementations too? Also seems like the default if you want an augmented BBST?
