Who consistently writes good, unbiased, early to mid career advice?
I know @sehurlburt and @patio11 do this, but there must be people I'm missing?

An HN cynic might say "Patrick just tells the truth on low-stakes things as part of a considered strategy to convince us to trust him when he tells the truth on high-stakes things. He is a crafty devious bastard that way."
-
And holding a captive audience provides two financial benefits: (1) gives you job options (e.g. Stripe for patio) and (2) allows you to sell services directly to them. I hate to be the cynic, but true free advice is virtually worthless (or simply doesn't exist).

By this, his writings on cryptocurrencies are suspect – but I think he’s entirely truthful there, too: People saying what benefits them is hard to disentangle after all from people positioning themselves where they think the truth is heading.
