Who is Kyle Kingsbury?
@aphyr, and he's one of the smartest people around
The flaw in logic is that the skill in building technology can be easily observed and verified; so the flaw is not about male or female; but, I do not know how anyone can not be conscious in the present time of the unique problems that females face, and how it colours everything.
How each individual chooses to express themselves is not my personal concern, for I do not have to observe those individuals who I do not want to observe. It is almost always never a good choice to publicly attack or disparage another living human being in anyway whatsoever.
I've seen such discussion in Russian.
I am *so* curious about this now Like... is the idea that someone else writes my code and I'm just the sexy frontman?
@aphyr is an example... And yes, I don't follow him precisely because of the more risqué posts. Doesn't lessen my respect for him as an engineer.
Oh.. just realized these are one and the same. First Google result for 'Kyle Kingsbury' is someone else, though.
Sadly, Hacker News does a *lot* of trashing Kyle for not being a real engineer for those reasons :-(
