There are "good" communities, but that it can work for some tumblr communities doesn't mean they've cracked moderation. Ditto for reddit.
If the arugment is that lobsters should be moderated a certain way because that sometimes works for some sub-communities, that's bogus.
I.e. 1% of tumblr could be a raging cesspit and the rest fine. It’s probably much worse than that, but how would we know?
