Is there an affordable analytics platform that tracks time on page? Google analytics claims to, but it actually tracks time to first click.

"Time active on page" seems more useful of a metric maybe? i.e. the amount of time where < N sec of time between clicks/keys elapsed
Maybe that's what I want or maybe I want scroll depth or something, but I certainly don't want what GA provides out of the box.

Agree - while you'd also have to do it yourself, Azure App Insights has a pretty great custom query sitch, for writing these kinds of things

After seeing how the sausage is made, I think I want to steer clear of Azure for the next few years. Speaking only for myself, etc.
