The Magic Keyboard keys feel like the 2nd gen butterfly switches in late 2016 onward MacBooks: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MLA22LL/A/magic-keyboard-us-english …

I have one of these lying around and it doesn't seem even remotely similar. AFAICT most of the internet agrees:https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/6ccwx8/are_there_any_plans_for_a_butterfly_switch_magic/ …

I was wrong. "Scissor mechanism" (on keyboard) refers to the old switch: http://static1.businessinsider.com/image/54fdec136da8119540a836a8-1190-625/apple-says-it-has-completely-reinvented-the-keyboard-with-its-new-macbook.jpg …

But I use both the Magic Keyboard & MBP. Keys feel much less sloshly in Magic Keyboard than older ones. Is yours rechargeable?

Digging further, MK optimized the old mechanism, but it isn't the new mechanism:pic.twitter.com/dY6lCQHYfP

Hmmm interesting. I think I must be using something older than the newest thing. I'll swing by an Apple store to see if I can try one.
