IME, when I have 4G/LTE on some interstate in Montana, actual internet speed is much slower than when I have 3G in a major city.
Anecdotally, rural PA mobile "broadband" is pretty awful. My parents are < 50 mi from Pittsburgh and satellite is the only option.
