So 20-year tenure means not a lot of new hires, a static cohort, and not a lot of advancement for individuals--senior jobs rarely open up.
I would love to talk to people at other companies with low attrit to see how employees feel about it, but it's hard to find such companies!

Agreed, interesting subject. I don't know Centaur, not sure if they're an outlier for some reason,

but my experience is that some people just leave for new experiences and that's healthy.
