What fraction of programmers with 10 years of experience have been fired? My gut reaction is maybe 2%-3%, but that seems obviously wrong...

0 stories. I know of more than a few startups which fire quite heavily (though not all, and perhaps not most, do).

Ah, you probably know better startups than I do - most I've seen are first-time leaders w/o mentorship who put off hard things

I know a number of startups/peopke with good stories, it's just they don't get published unless super outrageous
