The most striking thing about this to me is how different the comments on the two situations are.

Case A: the man gets the benefit of the doubt, negative comments get downvoted Case B: the woman gets a ton of FUD, top comment is FUD.

I don't know enough about the situation to know if the FUD is true, but neither does the person who wrote it or the people who upvoted it.

It is literally impossible for the comment ranking to be a reflection of reality. It's all just a reflection of people's biases.
