Does anyone know of rigorous empirical work comparing keyboard vs. mousing speed? AskTog is widely cited, but very thin on actual content.

Can you be more specific what question(s) you are interested in?
For tasks that I spend a lot of time on (e.g. programming or writing), how much impact would using the mouse more (or less) have?
