You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more

When did you start your blog? A lot of eye hours have moved to social, YouTube, Medium. Growing a new blog is brutal.
IMO, if any of {@b0rk,@johnregehr,@yossikreinin,@garybernhardt, @elibendersky, ...} started today, they'd still be successful
Well, the OP doesn't want to start a blog. He wants fame, using a blog to gather it. That's a completely different thing.

As someone who recently started a technical blog, could not agree more. You need to write about things people actually care about.
There's probably an intersection b/w ppl using sites with fake internet points, and ppl who optimize for page views on their blog.
I'd like to - it depends on me getting time to think... I have a few posts half-written :-)
