Windows 10 and 8 both have Kiosk mode. Once enabled nothing runs above, nor popups or taskbar.

It seems like that setting might sometimes get lost during updates? The MS cafe displays often fail after OS updates.

setting up this kind of kiosk-mode stuff on Windows is insane. I regularly see it end up with Flash/Java update popups and what not.

notifs/reboots aren't Win-specific but for sure happen more often. But I guess in MS canteen you can't use another OS that easily :)
