VS got into a state where it wouldn't close or restart until after it'd restarted. Luckily, Win 10 force reboots all the time, fixing this.pic.twitter.com/QFZhjMy286
It's sort of amazing that the close button and alt+f4 can "get out of date" and require a restart to function. Modern software development!
