I thought the joel test was obsolete, but it turns out you still have to ask if teams use version control and bug trackers when interviewing

I want to amend the test to start subtracting points when you have more than one bug database

Maybe fractional points? I take your point, but 2 or 3 bug trackers is surely better than 0 :-).
