are there any actually reasonable ways to keep up with online friends without being constantly exposed to horrible things?

@kamalmarhubi My 80% solution is super aggressive muting; follow 102 people and have 236 muted. Works ok, but not great.
@kamalmarhubi And... I just unfollowed a few more folks to keep my feed cleaner. 99:236.
