@heathborders with the exception of the startup I was at, which had voluntary attrition of < 3% on the teams I worked with over 8 years.
@heathborders I only know the actual numbers for one BigCo, and there attrition is < 10%, although average tenure is < 10 yrs b/c growth.

@danluu I've worked for 1 BigCo (AMZN, now); one MidCo (CERN '04-06). CERN's turnover was ~50% <2 years, but ~10% after 2 years -
@danluu I'm sure academia studies this in various industries. I wonder whether MidCos, TinyCos, (even BigCos) use much science to decide
