@danluu In 2002 I abused gcc's -pg option with a modified mcount (it tail-patches to mret), to build a real-time flame profiler on Linux. -
@danluu Actually it must have been 1995-7. Can release code if a maintainer steps up to make it work again. Nano-second flame profiles rock!
