That sounds interesting, thanks! I would claim that "books you read cover to cover" is another underrated genre for programming though, which is part of why (3) is there as a restriction.

https://danluu.com/programming-books/ …, sort of. That has a lot of items that aren't favorites, but I think it's more useful than a list of favorites. It's also missing some favorites I haven't completely read, like APUE and Statistical Rethinking.

I loved it! Discovered it when learning about semathores on uni and thought I would use one or two exercises it for a little practice and in the end I made it through half of it, just because it *was* a fun puzzle book!
