Great timing, we are setting up our engineering blog right now. Very much in the spirit of the low friction you advocate, I believe the
@Tailscale process will be: any engineer can post, ask for review if you think it needs one. -
This post reminds me of Deming’s admonishments to stop “inspecting” people’s work (on assembly lines but also elsewhere). If people know their work will be checked downstream, they produce worse work. And empirically it gets even worse with multiple inspectors.
