Where are your numbers coming from? This contradicts the three sources I looked up when having the discussion in the other sub-thread. See https://afdc.energy.gov/vehicles/electric_emissions.html …, for example, which is 2.5x but for all vehicles, and EVs are probably on average lighter across the fleet.
If you flip this around to Teslas, which are quite heavy compare to boring old sedans or economy cars, I don't see why you should expect even a 2x improvement over an economy car (ignoring the resources used to make the car). Also, most cars don't actually have a 15 year life.
