I'll change that when people stop responding to things like a mathematical proof with comments like "this is 3 years old, why would someone post this?" :-)

But http://danluu.com has the dates The weird part is I'm that I can't decide which of your positions becomes more inconsistent given that fact.

The reason for this is that anyone can find the date, but the one extra step this takes gets rid of 99% of complaints that the post is old for posts that aren't going to get out of date "soon". There might be something better I could do, but I think it's consistent :-).

It would probably be better for me to change my blog template to date some posts, but I find it kind of annoying to mess with Hugo templates, so I haven't done this. One reason it's annoying is that Hugo makes breaking changes all the time, so I just never take updates, but...

...this means that basically all docs and stackoverflow answers are incorrect for my version of Hugo. The alternative would be to update my blog every few months to handle the latest breaking changes and I don't want to do that.
