Blog posts without any date: don't.
I'll change that when people stop responding to things like a mathematical proof with comments like "this is 3 years old, why would someone post this?" :-)

But http://danluu.com has the dates The weird part is I'm that I can't decide which of your positions becomes more inconsistent given that fact.

The reason for this is that anyone can find the date, but the one extra step this takes gets rid of 99% of complaints that the post is old for posts that aren't going to get out of date "soon". There might be something better I could do, but I think it's consistent :-).

A blog post date is an important information for the reader to understand better the post itself. Put that date please.
