@danluu, I'd love to hear your opinion on this one. It came out after your survey, and I think it is the best work in the area to date. Reasonable and well-defined experiment, plausible results, no over-stating of conclusions, overall just very careful and solid work.
I've been meaning to collect "recent" studies, read them, and update the post, just haven't had much time to blog stuff lately!
