Testing is supposed to increase developer confidence that the code is correct. That doesn't work for me. When tests find bugs in my changes, I feel less confident about my code and my abilities. Sometimes I wish there were no tests - and live in blissful ignorance

This "works" for me: No tests: I'm quite sure there are bugs. Tests find bugs: Still think there are bugs, but maybe 1 or 2 fewer than before. Yay! I guess I'm saying that my strategy is that I never have confidence...
