This is good work.

Haven't read it yet. What did you like about it?

Mostly I'm in appreciation of the composition of the piece, the way it wove together perspectives, ideas and moments. Masterful demonstration of the craft of a kind of writing; not sure I would call it journalism.
-
Writing craft aside (it is well written in that respect) I'm having trouble digging in to the piece becaues the first 4 paragraphs (as far as I've gotten) are full of so many hostile mischaracterizations or oversimplifications that I can't take it seriously.
-
Yup. Like I said, it's not journalism...
-
Have now read the whole thing. I'm impressed at the subtlety of the author at instilling negative emotional valence in almost every single description of anything Peterson has said or done, or even how he has decorated his house
-
Bingo. Amazing craftsmanship. Impressive that the NYTimes would publish something like this. My sense is that this piece will have fascinating consequences.
