I am wary of trope archetypes that acquire the weight of folk statistical assumptions.
For example is it actually the case that Jordan Peterson’s audience is primarily troubled young men, in search of strong moral leadership? Any fans outside that demo/psychographic?

Target an ad at his followers on social media, then run an audience analysis and see how it differs from general platform data

1. that seems impractical and expensive 2. that would only tell you about his audience on specific social media platforms. not everyone uses social media platforms. those that do are not necessarily likely to engage with advertisements. (e.g. I use AdBlock+)

the data I'm most interested in is: - who bought his book and then read the whole thing with enthusiasm? - who attends his live speaking events? - who watches/listens to his academic lectures? - who cites his academic work? - who has done talk therapy with him?
