ooooof theres gonna be a Reaction and its gonna be really bad for everyone
this is one of those topics that is much too dangerous too talk about in public. y'all are brave for doing it at all, even on your pseudonymous accounts.
yup i did delete that tweet
do you think its really so remarkable or dangerous? I think I usually am pretty sensitive to this and it doesnt seem hmm sufficiently pattern-matched to the outgroup to be radioactive
non-deleted tweets are an archive. I don't think any of the people in our nice little cluster would have been offended by it but I know for a fact that there are people out there will dig through archives for ammunition. I don't intend to make it easy if I get in trouble one day.
if I'm gonna get dragged one day I hope it will at minimum be on a hill I'm willing to die on and not for some BS
if someone wants to wreck you they'll find a way
show me the man etc
best is just to practice good opsec and avoid making enemies I guess
still I respect your discretion
good opsec would be using a pseudonym, which I don't. my compromise is instead to use my real name as a focusing element to discipline my speech. forces me to think "is this so important that I need to say it, here, now, in this way?" untraining my autistic tendencies I guess
it's a kind of resistance training for public speech
That’s fine but you can practice that on LinkedIn. At least that’s how I see it.
