yes! so simple, so powerful, so obvious in retrospect 
we even have an artifact of it in our language (lots, actually). moods are almost always expressed via metaphor to body sensation. a few different categories of these. flavors: sour, salty, bitter, sweet muscular: tense, relaxed visual: dark, light, clear, murky

haha not particularly. read excerpts of it in a cog-psych class I took in college (my first time through college) many years ago and found it a bit dry. I should revisit though since it's been so long.
