kegan stage 5 is self-unraveling. the stages are themselves a system. once you move past systematic thinking the entire edifice loses value except as a kind of shadow or echo of other possible divisions of the world.
"one among many" in particular is a good way to find commonality and differences. I'm reminded of composite images of, e.g., many faces blended together to form an aggregate "average person" face. that's commonality finding. difference finding even more interesting imo.
